The annual film festival commenced on Wednesday, marking the start one of the most important periods in the film calendar and, of course, in the fashion calendar. After two months of rather stale action on the fashion front, excluding the Met Gala earlier this month, our post-Oscar blues can finally fade away as Hollywood's finest flee to the French coast for an offering of red carpet heaven.
