The emotive piece of music creates a vulnerable spot for the singer to open up

Bazzi has come out with the new single ‘Will It Ever Feel The Same?’ which includes everything that everyone is obsessed about him: stunning vocals as well as nostalgia. The emotive piece of music creates a vulnerable spot for the singer to open up to his audience. When listening to the song for the first time, the audience can clearly tell that there is a lot of pain as well as regret. The singer also creates a feeling that he wears his heart on his sleeve at all times. Since 2016, it has led to his rising fame with billions of people streaming his songs across many platforms since he released his debut song ‘Alone’.  He has risen to the top of the charts as well as finding fame on social media such as TikTok.

The accompanying music video charts the story of the singer and his former girlfriend as he navigates his way through his feelings after the breakup. The juxtaposing images of the sunny, bright memories of when they were together contrast the dark, depressing present day when he is singing in the club on his own. The lyrics depict the fresh feelings one feels after a breakup ‘Now I need to know / Will it ever feel the same? / Said, I need to know / Do the memories wash away?’

The song is raw and real showing the hard hitting emotions one feels after experiencing a breakup

As he exclusively told PeopleI made the song a year and a half ago, when all the emotion was pure and raw, and putting it out today is interesting because a lot of emotions have changed.” This is his first single since his 2021 viral TikTok hit ‘I Like That’ and the 2019 mixtape Soul Searching. Overall, the song is raw and real, showing the hard hitting emotions one feels after experiencing a breakup.
