I often struggle to find study playlists which I actually want to listen to, or I get too distracted listening to them. What I listen to depends on, first, the mood I am in and second, the type of work I am doing. So, I have created five different playlists as recommendations for anyone else who, like me, struggles to find good study playlists or just wants something new to listen to.

1. Lofi Study Playlist

Lofi beats is something that is really easy to listen to. It can just be put on in the background of any kind of work. Often, I find that it helps me to concentrate better, but is not to the extent of putting on some classical music. It is a nice in-between state.

I have created this playlist to help. It can be used to study, or even to relax at night.

2. Oldies But Goodies To Study To

I do not know about anyone else, but I find that songs from the 50s to the late 70s are good to have on in the background whilst doing work as they are very easy listening. Sometimes you can have a singalong, but the easy and catchy background music can help you do tasks too as they are all so upbeat and groovy.

This playlist includes some of my all-time favourites. I usually find myself gravitating towards this playlist anytime, even when not studying.

3. Good Vibes Study Playlist

Again, sometimes I do not want just instrumental music on when I am studying. So, I sometimes gravitate to more modern songs to have on in the background. This playlist has a good mix of modern songs that can be listened to whenever, whatever the mood or work.

4. Instrumental Library Music

Just occasionally, I will find myself needing to concentrate harder, like when there is an assignment to complete or I need to do reading for my course. So, this is when this kind of music comes in handy. It has good soundscapes that can range from piano to orchestral. However, it is not all just Classical music. Since Bridgerton came out it brought with it an increased popularity of pop-hit string covers. There are some of these newer string covers mixed into the playlist as well.

5. Jazz Study Playlist

Jazzy tunes can be a good substitute for instrumental music if you are not much for Classical music. They are good for intense concentration to have on in the background. My Jazz playlist has a mix of more modern Jazz hits and classical Jazz. Both are great study companions.
