The delicate melodies of the song show the audience it is okay to not be okay

Sigrid has released her brand new single ‘Ghost’ and it definitely does not disappoint. The new song charts the vulnerabilities of the singer and shines a light on keeping those you love close. The delicate melodies of the song show the audience it is okay to not be okay all the time and that you will eventually come out of your phase of darkness.

On the 6th of October, the singer exclusively revealed to her followers on Instagram that her new EP The Hype will be released this fall on the 27th of October and that she cannot wait for the imminent release to show her fans what she has been getting up to behind-the-scenes.

The lyrics in the song really express the true beauty of being vulnerable to those you love

The lyrics in the song really express the true beauty of being vulnerable to those you love. ‘Look at me now, just a shadow of who I once was / And I know I’m not what you want, but I can’t let go’ highlights how Sigrid wants her lover(s) to know that she wants to be her true, authentic self in front of them even if it means getting hurt in the process.

The soft tones of Sigrid’s voice are supported by the delicate melodies of the piano accompanying her. If you are feeling lost in yourself and unable to express how you truly feel, then this song is definitely one to listen to.
